Tax Exempt Customers
Q: Does Equiparts (Sloanrepair.com) accept tax exempt orders?
A: Yes. New customers who are tax exempt must provide an acceptable proof of their exempt status for the state the product will be shipping to. The name of your organization must be included in the documentation. Your tax exemption certificate must be submitted to Equiparts (Sloanrepair.com) before your order can be processed as tax exempt.
Note that we do not charge tax in the following states: AL AK AZ AR CO DE FL GA ID IL IA KS LA MA MN MS MO MT NE NV NH NM ND OK OR RI SC SD TN TX UT VT WA WI WY.
Q: How do I submit my tax exemption form?A: You can either call or email us to submit tax exemption forms.
- Phone: Call us at 800-442-6622 to make appropriate arrangements to submit your tax exemption certificate.
- Email: Send your tax exemption form to firstname.lastname@example.org before or at time of order. If submitting a tax exemption form at the same time you are submitting an order, taxes will be deducted from your order when your order is processed.
MINIMUM ORDER IS $50.00, plus tax and shipping. SloanRepair.com accepts all major debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express). All orders are subject to approval.
To open a billing account - Net 30 terms are offered to qualified businesses and government agencies. If you are interested in setting up a Net 30 account please inquire in an e-mail to email@example.com or by giving us a call at 800-442-6622 or 412-781-9100.
Billing addresses must be a United States address. This applies primarily to companies in foreign countries who would like to order and use a freight forwarding service. For customers utilizing a freight forwarding service (and shipping to a forwarder) who have foreign country billing information, you will need to call to place your order so we can verify order authenticity. You can call in to place your order Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4PM EST. Our toll-free phone number is 800-442-6622.
Shipping and Tax
Shipping and tax for your order will be calculated once you click on the ‘Check Out’ button displayed on the ‘My Cart’ screen. Most orders shipped within the continental United States will qualify for a flat $13.50 shipping charge. Orders with large or heavy items (for example, china) will have varied shipping charges.
If you have special shipping requirements including, but not limited to, overnight or expedited shipping, You can submit special shipping requests (ie: overnight or other expedited shipping) by adding a comment in the comment area in the ‘My Cart’ section or by calling us at 800-442-6622 or 412-781-9100. Additional shipping fees may be applied for charges incurred for hazardous materials or special handling by the carrier.
An order confirmation will be emailed to you that will include the final shipping charges and taxes. Your card will not be charged until the products have shipped.
Equiparts Corp collects sales tax from the following states: CA CT DC IN KY MD ME MI NC NJ NY OH PA VA WV. Any applicable taxes to any other state must be paid directly to that local tax authority by the end user. All sales and usage taxes are paid by the buyer unless a tax exemption certificate is filed with Equiparts (SloanRepair.com).
Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada Shipping Information
Orders to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada cannot be placed online. Orders to these locations must be placed over the phone. Note that we do not ship China fixtures to these locations.

Shortages & Damaged Shipments
Shortages & Damaged shipments must be reported promptly to us by phone (800-442-6622 or 412-781-9100) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) within two (2) days of receiving the material.
LTL freight shipments must be inspected and marked damaged prior to signing for and accepting the shipment or no further action can be taken to file or report a claim. If shipments are accepted as damage-free, the responsibility of any future discovered damages becomes the sole responsibility of the party who signed for the shipment. Items misused or damaged by a customer are non-returnable.
All returns must be pre-approved and assigned a return goods authorization before returning. Special orders or customized orders are non-returnable. All returns are subject to inspection. Returns must be within 30 days of the invoice date, and returns must be in their original condition and packaging. Returns may be subject to a restocking charge. Defective items will be covered under the terms of the manufacturer's warranty. A credit or reshipment of a replacement item will result from approved defective claims. Items misused or damaged by a customer are non-returnable.
